Prices per vehicle

These are starting prices, and each is for the whole vehicle. A family of seven pays the same as a couple. Hotels and entry fees are not included. Send us your dates and we confirm the exact price before you pay.

A two-day plan in Muscat

Day 1: Muscat. Start at the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in the morning, then take photo stops at the Royal Opera House and Al Alam Palace. Keep the late afternoon and evening for Mutrah Souq and the Corniche, when the souq is at its liveliest. See our private Muscat tours for more stops.

Day 2: choose one.

• Nizwa: the fort, the old souq and, on Fridays, the goat market. About 1.5 hours from Muscat.
• Wadi Shab: emerald pools and a hidden waterfall cave. About 2 hours from Muscat, with an 8-hour private trip.
• Jebel Akhdar: terraced gardens and cool mountain air. About 2 hours from Muscat.

Why families and groups book private

Getting to Muscat from the Gulf

GCC citizens do not need a visa to enter Oman. Residents of GCC countries should check the e-visa rules for their nationality before they travel. Driving in from the UAE? Before you go

• Best season: October to April, when temperatures are around 20 to 30°C. For month-by-month timing, including Ramadan, see our seasonal guide for UAE residents.
• Grand Mosque: Non-Muslim visitors are admitted from 8:30 to 11:00, Saturday to Thursday, and the mosque is closed to them on Fridays. Women must cover their hair, shoulders and legs. Men must cover their legs (long trousers, no shorts).
• Friday: The Nizwa goat market makes Friday a good day for the Nizwa trip. Tell us your travel days and we build the plan around them.

How many people fit in one vehicle?

The Toyota Sienna seats 7. For 8 to 14 people we use a 14-seat Toyota Hiace.

Is there an Arabic-speaking guide?

Yes. Our guides speak Arabic and English. A guide is available on request on every trip, and we confirm the price on WhatsApp when you book.

Do I need a visa?
