Book a Daymaniyat Islands snorkeling trip
OmanTour arranges half-day snorkeling trips to the Daymaniyat Islands from Muscat. A typical shared trip meets at Al Mouj Marina at 8:15 AM, departs at 8:30 AM and returns at about 1:30 PM. The trip includes two snorkeling stops, with the exact locations selected according to sea conditions and activity around the sites.
Shared and private trips are available. A private boat costs more and is priced for the requested date and group. Hotel or airport pickup is not included in the boat trip, but private transport from Muscat to Al Mouj Marina can be added at extra cost. The written quotation confirms the boat arrangement, transfer, meeting point, inclusions and total price before booking.
For background information about the reserve, read the Daymaniyat Islands snorkeling guide. This page is the commercial booking page for requesting the current trip and quotation.

What is included on the standard shared trip
The standard shared boat trip includes:
- Two snorkeling stops
- Snorkeling mask and fins
- Life jacket
- Kayak use when conditions allow
- An underwater camera available on board
- Sandwiches, fruit and chips
- Water and juice
A vegetarian sandwich or snack option can be prepared when requested before the trip. This is a light-snack service rather than a full lunch.
Bring your own towel, sunscreen and swimwear. Hotel and airport transfers are not included in the boat price. Private boat arrangements, private road transport and any request outside the standard shared trip are priced separately in the written quotation.
Snorkeling and marine life
The trip is planned around two snorkeling locations. Sea turtles, reef fish and other marine life may be seen in the reserve, but all wildlife encounters are natural and cannot be guaranteed. Guests should follow the captain's instructions, avoid touching wildlife or coral and use the provided life jacket whenever instructed.
The second snorkeling site may change depending on sea conditions, visibility and activity around the reserve. The captain makes the final operational decision on the day.
Seasonal island-access rule
The Environment Authority prohibits landing on the islands and camping from 1 May through 31 October each year. During this period, the trip can still operate from the boat with snorkeling stops, but there is no beach landing. From November through April, any island landing remains subject to the applicable permit, sea conditions and the operator's confirmation; it is not guaranteed by this page.

Shared trip, private boat and Muscat transfer
Choose a shared trip when you are happy to travel with other booked guests. Ask for a private boat when you want the boat reserved for your group; the additional price depends on the date and group requirements.
If you need pickup from a Muscat hotel or Muscat International Airport, include the location and required time in the first message. OmanTour will quote the road transfer separately and coordinate it with the marina meeting time. Do not assume a transfer is included unless it appears in writing.

Request a written quotation
Send the travel date, number of adults, number of children and their ages, and whether you want a shared or private trip. State whether you need hotel or airport pickup, give the pickup location, and mention vegetarian food, equipment or mobility needs before booking.
OmanTour will confirm availability, the meeting time, boat arrangement, road transfer if requested, inclusions and total price in writing. Nothing outside that written quotation should be treated as included.
