Daymaniyat Islands

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BEACHES YOU’VE NEVER HEARD OF ARE ON THE DAYMANIYAT ISLANDS, OMAN

One of the most unexpected and important aspects of a trip to Muscat, Oman, is touring and snorkeling the Daymaniyat Islands. The months of May through October are off-limits to tours. The cost of a half-day excursion, which includes lunch and all snorkeling equipment. Read more about daymaniyat islands

HOW TO GET THERE:

Booking a boat excursion through a tour operator is, by far, the finest and easiest way to visit the Daymaniyat Islands. Several tour operators in Muscat provide both group and private tours. Around 30 to 40 minutes pass during the tough trip out to the islands. Not in a way that makes you queasy, but in a way that makes you want to grab on tight or risk falling overboard. Our tour included a wonderful lunch of sandwiches, hummus and pita, cookies and fresh fruit, as well as all of the snorkeling equipment and towels. It began about 9AM and ended when we returned to our hotel at around 3PM.
